Different field in the final for No New England Patriots the ravens that were the number one team in the regular season gone we have the forty Niners Packers chiefs and tight so if you look at these four teams on paper I don't know about you rich but there really is one stand out team and that is the San Francisco forty Niners because they got pretty much everything the defense has been dominant especially with the return a D. Ford you can see once again them putting in same pressure on opposing quarterbacks they come at you it waves on that defense are front he got the old pro Richard Sherman that steady force in that secondary you can not underplay his value on that defense no doubt offense of Lee you got the new graw can George cattle he is complete complete player offense of one plays extremely well they got dual threats at running back and then he got Jimmy Karabagh low and all he does is win and I I I make this comparison because you know Jimmy grovel looks a lot like Tom Brady did early in his run with the patriots were he wasn't putting up glossy numbers but he was an outstanding game manager he wasn't making critical mistakes and he was just finding ways to win so at least on paper of these four teams it appears to me that the forty Niners our step above everybody else yeah I completely agree with you and then like you know and and again not to correct this because they are so loaded for bear you said everything correctly but you didn't mention Nick Bosa on the ads for this forty Niners deep defensive line is unbelievable they are unbelievable and they're unbelievably deep the force Barker Buckner another first round draft pick by the forty Niners Solomon Thomas they are getting some decent minutes finally in his career as a first rounder was the first Peck that John Lynch ever took as a general manager offense of we are Kyle Jews check this do it all full back playing a actually complementary role to kindle their entire backfield Coleman most stirred and Brita all having really release a successful years the forty Niners are arguably the most complete team in football right now they've been built right you know when you mention Richard Sherman as an anchor on the defense the thing about his pedigree came from a Superbowl winning Seattle Seahawks team he's a future hall of Famer it what does he plan for everything he's playing for his legacy at this point and he still playing an extremely high level and he's the heartbeat of this defense that's insanely talented his veteran presence then you think about the field general on the opposite side of the field on offense Jimmy Grawp low what's his pedigree you know I don't know four years in the school bell check you know how many of its super bowls has he been to how many super bowl's as the understudy to Tom Brady has she played out in his mind now again mentor ups are very different from starting your first ever Super Bowl should be so lucky to blame one but this team is built right John Lynch is the mother of the MVP of the league right now as far as the most valuable person I mean if you have the ability to hire any single human being in the NFL right now you hire John Lynch this is truly his team he's built this from scratch and he's made a winner and there's no doubt the single biggest in season acquisition was Emmanuel Sanders manual Sanders changed everything in that forty Niners passing game I'm he is just made one huge catch after another and gave them an extra dimension the passing game so the forty Niners or complete team when you look at Green Bay going against this forty niner team and you know a lot of people say look back at thirty seven a college Santa by the way forty nine a coach was trying to make this point it wasn't that big of a win I mean we got every single break in that game and they were pointing out to certain things the ball they're just games like that the bounds of the bounce of the ball keeps going in your direction to count to thirty seven A. was trying to make the point that the game was a lot closer than the final score indicated here's the one thing I know about green bay's chances in this game against the Niners and again I I'm leaning Packers because I'd I don't know I just got this feeling about this game we'll go back to the Packers win against Seattle last week what was the key stat in that game third down conversions nine of fourteen this is where Aaron Rodgers has to excel has is experience and just moving the chains Cuban drives alive you got to do that against the forty Niners forty if he has if they don't convert on third down this is going to be a repeat of what we saw in the regular season because then what happens is you get in these third and long situations they start teaming up the sack and five times the first time around pressured him through that entire game similar situation happened when the Packers loss to the Chargers where they were able to get enough pass rush without any blitzing right I mean if you if you can get you know with the the the the Chargers a boatswain Ingram off the edge if you could put pressure on Aaron Rodgers just using a four man front then you really have an advantage and that's the advantage the forty Niners have because they have that kind of defense of wine you know as I'm speaking to you I'm going back to those games against the Chargers and the forty Niners in a minute just check one thing out because I have a feeling it's going to be consistent yeah yeah okay so the Chargers jumped out to a nine to nothing we eat in the first half in the game against the Packers and then the forty Niners if I have this correct did the same thing yeah ten nothing we by the end of the first quarter right look that's that's the deal if you can get now you're talking about third down absolutely correct they call that you know the odds stat is staying on the sticks when you're having an effective Ron on first down that sets up second in five and then you have an effective short pass to get you to thirty three and then you know you convert like you're staying on the sticks you're keeping the downs in check once you get behind the sticks you know on offsides penalty first in fifteen are holding and all of a sudden it second in twenty years it's an uphill climb to get back into that drive and so the same can be said about the score if you have an Aaron Rodgers who hasn't been tasked necessarily the way he has in the past when you games it's going to be an uphill climb against this talented of a defense the forty Niners again they're loaded to the teeth with pass rushers they have a very solid back end of this defense probably one of the more underrated linebacking corps is in all of the NFL this team if you get behind against the forty Niners you're in for a long hard Sunday one of things I was thinking about the other day there's a certain symmetry in the history of the National Football League in the sense that there has been a clearly defined team of the decades every decade in the forties it was the bears in the fifties it was the Browns in the sixties it was the Packers in the seventies it was the Steelers in the eighties it was the forty Niners in the nineties it was the cowboys and each of the last two decades it's been the patriots they did it two straight decades and if you look at which one of these teams could be the team of the decade of the twenties I mean on service you would look into teams the forty Niners and the chiefs who have young quarterbacks so what and when I put it in terms of that and again with this is pure projection but it's amazing how the NFL his have this every decade there's been a team all that decade no doubt literally there's there's no argument so is the team of the twenty still to be found or call we actually look at again tegulae this is twenty nineteen season but I'm looking out to this next decade Patrick my home so the chiefs what the forty Niners are putting together you mentioned John lunch great job as general manager and a young quarterback like Jimmy garage below could the winner of this year's Superbowl actually emerge as a team of the twenties it's very possible I mean I look I if there's one thing I love about the Titans is how unbelievably hot they got down the stretch of the season and Ryan Tannehill is really done a nice job changing things for this offense doing exactly what they need him to do in protecting the football while he's doing it having arguably his best year even though it was abbreviated because as Mario to the started about him with but what I will say about the times do they have a shot at being the team of the decade possibly but the fact that the forty Niners are so young and talented are you know you Richard Sherman's it by an exception it just lead you to believe that there is so much left in the tank if the I mean they've already made it to the NFC championship game some people are talking about well not really enough of course it's enough it's another step in the direction of making this what you're claiming could be a dynasty so if you're asking me to pick among the.
