Expansive rules mandate that all employers with more than 100 workers require them to be vaccinated or test for the virus weekly affecting about 80 million Americans. Roughly 17 million workers at health facilities that receive federal, Medicare or Medicaid will also have to be fully vaccinated. The president is also signing an executive order to require vaccination for employees of the executive branch and Contractors who do business with the federal government, with no option to test out that covers several million more workers. Hundreds of Denver City employees are trying to opt out of the requirement to be vaccinated against Covid by September. 30th Lisa de Souza with Fox 31 has been tracking the data UN employees asking for exemptions for either medical or religious reasons. More than 400 public safety employees are trying to get an exemption here in Denver from that requirement to get the Covid 19 vaccine By the end of the month, nearly 200 of those employees are with the Denver Police Department, many of the others applying for exemptions or with the Denver Fire Department. And so far the city's approved 235 exemptions, denying eight the Biden administration taking the state of Texas to court over its new abortion law. U S Supreme Court recently declined to block implementation of the Texas law, which bans abortions. After six weeks of pregnancy is attorney General Merrick Garland.
