North America, Starbucks, Salesforce discussed on News, Traffic and Weather


Top Gun: Maverick is now the 6th highest grossing movie in domestic box office history. The film has earned $679 million in North America, beating out Avengers Infinity War by a $1 million internationally the sequel is generated over $700 million and is globally the 13th highest grossing movie ever. The movie premiered in late May, and is still in theaters 13 weeks later, continuing to break box office records, maverick will have to beat out another marvel smash hit Black Panther if it hopes to be number 5 on the domestic box office list. And now your stock chart dot com money update. The past week brought an end to the stock market string of four straight weekly gains, but what will the new week bring? Well, analysts say investors will be keeping tabs on news out of the federal reserves annual Jackson hole symposium, plus there will be earnings reports from companies, including Dell, Nvidia, Salesforce, Macy's, and Seattle based Nordstrom, among others. Plus, July data on consumer spending and new home sales. There was no immediate comment from Starbucks this past week, regarding the news that nearly identical operation called stars cafe had moved into its old digs in Moscow. Seattle based Starbucks exited Russia after that country's invasion of Ukraine stars is using an almost identical logo to the head of Starbucks as well as very similar menu. That's your money now.
