Donald Trump has already triumphed in a defamation suit centered around these exact same issues. The government's chief witness is a man named Michael Cohen, who has specifically denied that exact allegation he's making today both under oath in the defamation lawsuit and in a letter to the federal election commission signed by his attorneys. So the real question, I guess, would become, was he lying then, or is he lying now? The whole point, of course, is will Alvin Bragg, who is a George Soros funded prosecutor, elevate what even if accurate would be a misdemeanor to a felony in an effort to try to destroy the political prospects of Donald J Trump.
