Listen: Dan Marino, Tiger Woods And Tigers discussed on 0 Show
"Jay credit for this. Because it's game of thrones style as that show returns. Don't worry. We'll get a little non spoiler recap from the first episode. So Jake tweets where will the security guard be decapa decapitated Ned stark style for doing this to Tiger Woods, and we all thought like our heart stopped for a second. Because if tiger misses the cut if tiger withdraws if there's some like John Daly thing going on and he or some Jason day thing going on or. Yeah. Who is no speed part of me. Then you have something that you can at least attach it to. But if this guy came out of nowhere and took out Tiger Woods. You would have all the conspiracy theorists in the world coming out who paid them who's on his payer like how did this happen? What was his motivation that guy would be locked up? It would be bigger than Bret Hart getting sidelined in his hall of fame speech. My goodness. It would be bigger than that that guy arrested mind you, but still we're still trying to figure out Vince McMahon paid his bail. So Tiger Woods nearly gets ended. Instead he survives wins. The damn masters and will continue to talk about this amazing comeback story. Eight hundred seven seven seven zero nine seven. I'm sorry. Number. Yes. I have my other other. It's been probably ten years since I've gotten phone numbers mixed up. I've never given out to be fair didn't give out the wrong number. But I was about to eight hundred seven seven seven two nine zero seven chest that that should work that should get you to Jake pain. Thank you. And I asked on Twitter on the phones we ask why you can't appreciate if you are one of these people, and I've seen them pop up who can't appreciate this as one of the most amazing comeback stories. At least in sports. I'm not asking you to look at it from a human element and go that deep if you don't want to. But I think where you have to at least meet me halfway essay from a sports standpoint. This is the biggest comeback story we've seen in twenty twenty five years at the very least that seems to be like this modern era of sports. So this concerns me this really concerns me, and I get it that people fly through their timelines and they're doing other things. It's not often that Twitter is the main thing that you're doing sometimes you're watching TV sometimes at work. Sometimes you're having a conversation with someone sometimes even driving. Let's be real it happens. So when I ask a question, I don't always expect to get the best answer. But I do expect to get something. That's in the ballpark of. Okay. This should be somewhat of what you're looking for. And where I'm concerned is that over half of the people that and I got a lot of responses over one hundred responses, I got to this question, who is your all time favorite athlete slash player slash competitor meeting. You can throw a dart player in there. And it's covered. It's not just an athlete an individual sport. And I thought all right. Tigers playing I've got some older folks have follow me a Li, you know, there could be Serena I'm expecting maybe even people go outside the box Tony hawk. I saw on there as well. But the problem was that over half of the people that responded, they didn't give me like some Homer Philadelphia response. They gave me somebody who played a team sport. And I don't know Jacob. I asked you that in the break. Who would you think got the biggest response, or who do you think over fifty percent of the people responded you said Bryce Harper, which the funny thing about it though? It's not that far off because way, more like Alan Iverson, be doc is one of them. Dr J is another one of them. It's amazing. Robinson robinson. I did not see that one yet. But my goodness I'm going through now to be fair. I got a lot of Tigers and Andre Agassi, Mike Tyson. What about I think gritty was not in? There's no because gritty is. Yes. I've ever seen Pete Rose. Michael, jordan. It's amazing. A couple of Connor votes. But I don't really see that one. I'm going to have to go with Michael Phelps Phelps got a couple. I saw to vote although technically team, isn't it? No, no. When he was participating. That's true. Yes. So technically more technically than not he's covered. Yeah. I got a lot of these. It's crazy. How so many people responded with people that play team sports? And I just I could not I could not get it. Eric Lindros as one of them. Cole hamels is one of them Andre waters. Now, clearly these are Philadelphia people, Barry Sanders. Simply amazing, Dan Marino. Dan marino. Dan marino. What's wrong with people? Now, where do I start? Yeah. I mean, I could go LCD say, you know, these people vote, but let's take it a step further. These are people that are functioning in society. These are people that are at your job. These are people that are at your grocery store. These are people that you're dealing with at your kid's baseball game. Wherever may be these are people that are blending in with you in society. But you're getting mad at people for failing to comprehend a tweet which evolved forms of written communication, probably has the law. Lowest success rate and terms of comprehension. Not a lot of people got it. Right. And I think that when I see half of the people's actually, right? So so that's enough for me to say that answering Wayne Gretzky or Dan Marino or Kobe Bryant is on the interpreter. The person interpreting it it's not on the messenger because enough people got listen if to people got it wrong."
