A highlight from Philippians Part 8


He's not really asking you to go physically wash somebody's feet, although that might not hurt some of you. He's talking about being willing to do things that might be considered insignificant, maybe kind of unpleasant things to do for somebody else. Live in harmony with one another. Stop passing judgment on one another. Except one another as Christ has accepted you. The patient with one another don't provoke one another. Serve one another. Do not slander one another. Do you know that every time that you tell somebody something bad about somebody else, that affects their opinion of that person, even if what you told them is not true? Amen. And we need to be a lot more careful about listening to the stuff too. We are so what do you mean? What are you talking about? And you know, some people don't come out and gossip, they just hint. Maybe somebody's saying something nice about a person that you don't like and you're just like, that's all you know. Well, if you're mature enough, you can just say, yeah, and what I know is all I want to know. I don't want to know anything else. But more than likely, you're like, well, what do you mean? What are you talking about? What do you know that I don't know? Come on, you're going to get this before you leave. Paul was facing problems in the church with people not getting along. And he begged them to get along. You know, I'm not responsible for what somebody else does. But I am responsible for what I do. Amen. In Roman's 12, it says as far as you're concerned, be at peace with all men. It's up to me to try to keep peace, but if somebody refuses to be peaceful with me, then that's between them and God. Amen. In chapter one, we learned that false teachers had come among them and they were stirring up trouble. Do you know one person can start up so much trouble in the church? Just one, yakitori, Yankee yak person. Strife is bickering, arguing, heated disagreement and an angry undercurrent. You're not going to have the annoying where you got that. Let's look at some one 33. Behold how good and pleasant it is when brethren dwell together in unity. You know, you say a lot of pace and unity and here today. And you know
