Runway damage feared at Orlando Airport from fuel spill


Story we brought you a few weeks ago about a fuel spill at Orlando International Airport now the airport aviation authorities looking into permanent damage to a runway that may have been replaced on June twenty ninth the Norwegian air flight made a massive discharge of jet fuel after making an emergency landing on the longest of the four runways that runway is used by the Air Force and the biggest passenger and cargo planes and was nearly completely sprayed end to end with a flammable liquid director of airport operations Tom draper tells the Orlando Sentinel that some asphalt is starting to break down and will need replacement it's still unclear if nearby Orlando businesses and neighborhoods at the north end of the airport or blanketed with discharged fuel as well between the scales news ninety six point five
