Jennifer Griffin Responds to Col. Douglas Macgregor's Putin Comments

Automatic TRANSCRIPT

Want to play the response that Jennifer Griffin had, and she responded to colonel McGregor and I'm going to ask him for his response of her response. As he comes on here, which is cut 9 where Jennifer Griffin responds to colonel McGregor right afterwards, play cut 9. I just heard your last guess and I feel like I need to correct some of the things that colonel Doug McGregor just said because and I'm not sure ten minutes is enough time to do so because there were so many distortions in what he just said and talking about the west and NATO vilifying Putin and sounding like an apologist for Putin. So those what he just said was so distorted that I do feel that our audience needs to know the truth. She continued, let me see the other clip here that she was on here. She continued by uncut 18. Let's play cut 18, please. And talking about how put he thinks he knows how far Putin wants to go. I don't think anyone that I've spoken to here at The Pentagon or elsewhere in western intelligence believes they know how far Putin wants to go. And I think that the world has seen what Putin is capable of and to blame NATO membership for what we've seen Putin unleashed. We've seen from Putin's own words that he is talking in czarist terms from an 18th 19th century view of empirical imperial Russia. Debate is good in situations like this. When there is a consensus that they keep on putting on television, you're not allowed to have any sort of nuance or any sort of difference of opinion, then that's usually when really bad things happen. That's usually where you get situations like when you invade Iraq. Or when you lock down your entire country.
