Georgia Senate special election result projected to go to a runoff between Sen. Loeffler and Democrat Warnock
One of the two races for U. S. Senate in Georgia is going to a runoff as expected. GNN Rob Stadler has more on the race to fill the unexpired term of Republican Johnny Isakson. Democrat Raphael Warnock narrowly beat incumbent Kelly Leffler. But since neither captured a majority, we know that there is going to be a runoff election for the seat. On January, Leffler had to put down a strong challenge from third place finisher and outgoing congressman Doug Collins. He called to concede before endorsing the senator on Twitter. The eyes of the nation will be watching the runoff. We had the best time we've got more fun to come. We got nine weeks of fun to go the outcome on January, 5th will play a key to the balance of the Senate.
