Rhode Island Investigating Death of Man Handcuffed by Police


Underway into the death of a man who was handcuffed by Providence Police. WBC's Mike Macklin has the details. PROVIDENCE police A 34 year old Joseph, then Trey was rolling on the ground in a grassy field screaming when they arrived on scene a little after midnight Friday. Officers tried to calm the man down, but say he appeared to be on drugs flailing and yelling. Police body cam video shows, officers struggled to handcuff entry for his own safety and held him down on his stomach for about a minute and a half to coffin.
