Listen: San Diego County, Orange County And Representative discussed on Tim Conway Jr.
"That this of the two storms coming through last weekend. And the one that started yesterday didn't realize that this one was going to be quite the rainmaker. And I don't think to be fair. It was represented. It was Representative. There would be issues. Your remember that it was represented? There might be might be debris flow. There might be some modern every flow issues, and that we do Mike. She's some pretty strong thunderstorms and significant enough amounts of precipitation short time to create some problems that was all talked about. But what was not spoken of? I think is the quantities. I mean, it really exceeded even even the grimmest expectation and the reporting. In the last twenty not the last twenty four hours, but in the twenty four hours leading up to this storm the Wednesday Thursday storm was nowhere near the the the the hype or intensity or the urgency. If you will of the reporting leading into the storm that came in over the weekend, and there's one simple reason for that. And that is that the first storm after a dry period is the one that gets all the hype. When as it turns out, the second storm is the one that produced. The problems. And by the way, the two are run related once the first star moves in and it's saturated loved the soil, then the second one moves in and the soils unable to take a lot of that moisture. That's now being dropped in the form of some heavy rainfall show, the two things are related, but right now, it is raining heavily still in Orange County has even as that rain begins to move out into the over to Antero, San Bernardino, Redlands area. Coronas getting some rain at this hour, but San Diego County all the way across north east into the desert's, some very strong rain and some pretty powerful shells moving into into the desert of California right now that will. Will likely continue that flow into Nevada? So if you're headed to Las Vegas and places like that, this is the flow, you know, last thing on this. Now, we can move on. But that storm system as it does make its way down Itchen training all of that moisture. That's why it's moving from the south to the northeast. That's what's going on there. So if you're kind of wondering like, wow, I thought this storm system was coming from the north. You're right.."
