Taliban: 10 killed in bombing of Afghan religious school

A Taliban official says that at least ten students have been killed when a bomb blast hit a religious school in northern Afghanistan. A spokesman for the interior ministry says that several others were wounded in the blast at the madrasa at a back. The capital of the northern samangan province. A residence says most of the students in the school were young boys. Video distributed by the Taliban to the media showed the blast site, a whole littered with debris, mats and shoes, with bodies and blood stains on the floor. There has been no immediate claim of responsibility, but the Afghan affiliate of the Islamic State group has been waiting a campaign of violence that has escalated since the Taliban took power in August 2021.
