"Youtube show with you every Thursday We're on the road this week in one of the most famous fight cities in the World Philadelphia is and has been hosted some of the greatest fights and fighters of the last Hundred Years and the historian for the days of former editor in chief of the Ring magazine Mr Logical Hi Hey doing very well and we landed for days ago and this is a very familiar city view but it isn't to me what fabulous place first of all it is I mean you know if you live somewhere long enough you learn to like it I once for five years worked in Manhattan and I always used to go home as soon as I could like in Philadelphia if you WanNa Freak show you know where to find it in Manhattan and get away from it you know just city neighborhoods there is still some rivalry between fighters and Philadelphia from different neighborhoods north philly where we are are now is very very good nursery for fighters so south Philly West Philly I mean there's they come from all different places there's not as much rivalry as there used to be because there's a lot of Philadelphia fighters that won't fight each other anymore don't ask me why because that's the real key not too filling the house up to local guys fighting each second of that's a local guy with unknown fighter so your all the way back to the bare knuckle days but of course it was illegal then but they didn't make much difference nineteen o five at the turn of the century a guy called the Philadelphia Jack O'Brien became a light heavyweight champion and he was our first world champion it those days. The light heavyweight championship wasn't worth much no it really wasn't a division that had much history at that point people weren't that interested so he never even be bothered to defend it Yeah so because he could make more money fighting heavyweights or what have you but later we had some light heavyweight champion a really good in the sixty there was Harold Johnson and then we had Tommy Lachmann and the Thirties Tommy locker many people think he's the greatest fighter Philadel- yeah he had like ninety wins and only fourteen of them were knockout so he he knew how to box he even full heavyweight title against Primo Carnera and he complained afterwards the car near stellar his feet which was pretty bad because Canarios for those days was a giant so anyway but then they had a Matthew Saad Muhammad Eddie's was a great fighter extremely exciting and he he was the fourth and there hasn't been one cents except Bernard Hopkins Hopkins won the light heavyweight champion Lakers career and currently holds the record for being the oldest fighter to ever win a major title aw."
