Vancouver, China, Fentanyl discussed on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory

Through the real estate in Vancouver that it sent the prices through the roof so absolutely fascinating and saying why don't we bond these that no plants in China well because it's impossible to know where they are a lot of times the the the plants making fentanyl are the same plants making legitimate pharmaceutical company it's the same camera it's the same equipment sometimes it's done under the cover of night and like I said the the government is sometimes giving these companies tax benefits and so it's impossible to know when you met with the planned people under the guise of you're interested in buying did they did they try to get you to make a body and just bring money or wire money or anything like that yeah they said that I could use Western Union they had like HSBC bank account they said big Colleen I could pay and so I I went into this the sentinels lab and saw the facility talked with the cameras so I pretended to be interested in making this by but I never actually bought anything and no money exchanged hands for the suspicious of you or I mean was your life in jeopardy possibly yeah well my wife was certainly not thrilled about this at all and and yeah I intentionally guy right about this whole harrowing experience and yeah the the lab owner asked me if I was a journalist he was with this kind of muffled BC driver who would who took it to the lab and I was worried this is going to be the guy who broke my knee cap found out I was a journalist were there any armed troops there there was not and in fact in China they don't have a lot of guns at all it's not like the Colombian cartels are the Mexican cartels these are businessmen that's the difference they want to make money they want the Chinese government's blessing and third you know violence is bad for business they just want to make money did you have to wear a multi piece or something to protect you from breathing no but one of the cabinets when we went into the lab pulled his shirt up over his mouth because of the fumes and they had all the windows open so I was a little bit worried about that how big was the plant it had about five or six different lab rooms on one floor of a new construction building so I thought it was going to be a seedy underground lab but it looks like just a suburban office park there was a fountain in the middle and it had been made recently and it all you know inside it looked like the breaking bad lab but from the outside it just looked like any other office park with the prices in what quantity would dips people be able to buy they were selling in one kilo pricing so it would be twenty five hundred dollars to three thousand dollars for one kilo kilo was about how many inches by how many inches zero is just one small bag you know one bag of the black bag that's not that big but when you think about it like we said only two grains of rice is enough to have you overdose in one kilo there's literally millions of doses in there in the kilo was call girl Sentinel no offense to know okay but for only three thousand dollars I mean when you think about it a kilo of cocaine it's going to be ten times that much and and cocaine is much less potent than fence and also when you do the math it's just absolutely staggering the end of the fact that you walked away without buying anything that that kind of take them off how did you get out of there I just I said I would get back to them I said I would think about their offers in their pricing and I would get back to my connection and I just ended up not getting back to them one of the the organizations that I infiltrated when my book when fencing link was published this factory got burned to the ground almost the exact same day the you know that my information was published in so I wonder if they were if there was arson involved arson actually has not been ruled out yet so did you think you're going to be stopped at the airport or anything like that I was more worried about the Chinese government actually that I was worried about these lab owners because if you're if you don't have an official journalist visa then they can put you in jail and I didn't want to get one of those official visas because they wouldn't have let me do this undercover work exactly but I wanted to do and what did they say we have to have the customs when they were saying why are you are you coming into our country I just said I was a tourist and then I your book pops up and they've probably of reddit Nancy in Bellingham Washington hi Nancy go ahead hi once again we are just listening to a podcast with you then a while ago interesting yeah and I just tuned in your kind of the end of your talks I'm not really sure what are you covered but I do want to thank you for this work we covered it all Nancy all of it yeah but what I want to ask you if you have a podcast and it's not pretty kick work for the central because that's the topic but in the park catchers also saying that there is a myth about crack cocaine babies and I just want to say as a nurse you can't talk to any nurse anywhere in this country that works in a nursery I don't but I work in a hospital but that this is a very real phenomenon bait crack babies as the real thing and you were saying but the people take cocaine and you know the babies are all okay but if I you know I kind of wondered where you kind of got that idea and I'm bringing it up because you have such a great here again points and I feel that you know it's just yeah I know no I'm not I'm not saying that it's safe for okay to take cocaine or crack while you're pregnant and I'm saying I talk to someone knowledgeable in this industry you add this theory that crack babies was not a real phenomenon but I don't I certainly don't have any proof of that and what is crack cocaine as opposed to the powdered cocaine well it's it's known as a base and so he using baking soda to cook up the cocaine into something that you can smoke and so the crack epidemic was was really killing a lot of people in the eighties in particular gosh never stops doesn't they just think of other innovative ways to use these drugs yeah and you know fentanyl is is Justin and all these drugs and and math is becoming a much bigger problem in the US you know we heard about math a lot last decade just arrested two Arkansas professors chemistry professors just like Walter white breaking bad right exactly and so that because sentinels cut into Matt to those death rates are rising as well it's going to Bonnie in Kentucky let's see if we have time real fast money go ahead hi yeah and I'll try to be fat just one just one that's all we'll have time for a guy and well I just wondered how how it look for people that because you have a heart attack I think you could be suffocate and they're getting them at the hospital they gave it to me a month ago heroplay is that normal what do they give it to you for I had surgery and was I'm in recovery the date given that they are shaking so bad I had to give me demerol to calm me down well I like I don't I don't think that's normal certainly but I will say that when Sentinel is given in a hospital setting these are trained professionals they know how to use the dosage properly Sentinel remains an important drugs in hospital that's not to say that if I was a woman giving birth I would want fentanyl in enough but they're all things like that my wife has has stronger feelings about that than I do but for the most part you don't have to be afraid of hospital funds and then what is that elephant tranquilizer we've heard about two that's sort of car fentanyl and if you think that fentanyl is bad car fentanyl is one hundred times stronger legally since you are making now well that being made in China as well and that does you killed.
