A spokesperson from mariposa county in California says the oak fire went from bad to worse Friday nights, spreading to over 1700 acres and forcing the evacuation of several mountain communities, a federal judge has dismissed 5 former FBI officials from a lawsuit brought against them by former president Trump, the officials included former FBI director James Comey. We hear more about that from Bloomberg's Denise Pellegrini. Susanna this ruling comes in response to a lawsuit from a group of parents and educators, and they say the city didn't follow proper procedures in passing the city budget. This temporary block stops the city from further implementation of the budget cuts and it orders the Department of Education to spend at the levels outlined in the 2022 budget. New York gubernatorial candidate Lee zeldin resumed his campaign events yesterday after Thursday night's attempted attack. David Jacob bonus is charged with attempted assault in the second degree. He was arraigned, and then released, a 2019 bail reform law in New York eliminated pretrial incarceration for people accused of most nonviolent offenses. Zeldin is running for state governor against incumbent Kathy hochul and he criticized the bail release of the suspect. And here
