I'm Katie from on this dot com and I'm getting an increasing number of questions about EMF's and what to do about them. And in this episode, we are going to delve into that and what to do about it. All of those answers because I am here with Daniel devan who is an internationally recognized and influential expert in shielding electron emissions and electromagnetic radiation or MS. And he has a particular focus on the effect of exposure from mobile devices, such as laptops, tablets, and cellphones. I-I those things that are kissed her touching all the time, and his concern regarding the health impact of EMS grew from over thirty years of engineering experience in the telecommunications industry. He was on the frontlines. He owed a variety of leadership and executive positions in several large companies that were kind of advancing technology here. And he's the co, author of the recent bestseller radiation nation, the fallout of modern technology. So I cannot wait to jump in. He's a wealth of knowledge. Daniel, welcome. And thanks for being here. Thanks so much for inviting me. I appreciate it. And I'm excited about chatting with you today about the subject. I'll match me too, and I get so many questions that I'm sure you must as well. And I want to start with the big one which is five g. there's been a lot of buzz about this. This is a new thing. It's becoming very widespread. So let's start with the big one that the elephant in the room. Can you explain what five g. is white such a big deal? Yeah. Yeah. So by Steph initiative, it's the fifth g well, it's the fifth generation as what it is. There's actually been four before that when cell phones became available, you know twenty thirty years ago or even further that it was all analog. And then all of a sudden it shifted to a digital signal as an analog signal. It was always a constant load in the marketplace to your body as a travel with a digital signal. It's opposing data content that travels within the signal. So with g. one we started to code digital signals and we got better at it. G two, we got even better at three and four and at four, for example, it's about two gigahertz. That is it. It's fairly fast and it as one data stream within the. Signal and you can pass maybe ten megabits easily on the content of as a content load. So you can watch TV. You can watch media content and is doesn't it's not jittery clean. Well, five g. is not two gigahertz. It can be up to ninety gigahertz. That means it can be forty five times faster. That's one of the ways they're putting more information across the airwaves is by going that much faster in the speed. They also are adding what they call me MO multiple in multiple out. That means there's not just one day to signal there, multiple data signals within it. And so will we knew there was potential concerns about up devoid g with digital signal. Bills. This all of a sudden becoming the lots and lots of interest on five g. because now you can go that much faster and you can have multiple data stream joining inside and that potentially can be harmful in some stinking and others in the service providers community think it's the best thing slice since sliced bread. That makes sense. And it's tough. I get that. It's a tough issue because obviously there many positives to technology that many of us enjoy that are convenient and we don't want to give up our laptops or phones or the ability to watch the on either of those devices. I thought this is gonna be a big thing that we do need to address during this generation. Because like you said, this is a, it's getting exponentially faster. It's not just that like two d. where three g with two gigahertz and three GS three gigahertz. This is increasing exponential rate as technology duds, and there's not a likelihood that it's going to slow down or go away. So this is something important. I love. For you to expound on before..
