New Year's Eve has been arrested. 19 year old Trevor bickford faces attempted murder and attempted a soul charges. Bickford is in the hospital after police shot him in the shoulder during the confrontation. A law enforcement official tells The Associated Press that investigators are looking in the weather he was inspired by radical Islamic extremism. The attack happened about two hours before midnight Saturday, just outside the high security zone, where revelers are screened for weapons. VA is planning to process benefits for up to 700,000 vets and surviving family members and they're hoping to avoid the severe backlog while doing it comes after president Joe Biden signed the pack back in August, which gave healthcare and benefits to vets who were exposed to toxic burn pits in both Afghanistan and Iraq.
