Time for a check of our weather for that. We go to meteorologist Mike hammer, Nick and Mike. Good morning to you, my friend. Hey, dean, good morning. Happy sunday. Happy Sunday beautiful weekend. Lots of may sunshine, although not very much right at the moment. But we've got an unseasonably lovely day today. Don't we? Yeah. Not as warm as yesterday yesterday, we made it up to fifty two but a lake win kicked in overnight. And that's going to hold temperatures on the lower forties today, which is still well above normal. You know, normally we see temper on thirty one for high. So this is still a bargain territory and approaching storm is filtering some clouds in our direction, and that will may see some peaks of sun from time to time but not as much sun as yesterday, but still all in all not a bad day. We're going to keep the rain away until after midnight. It looks like the one thing, you know. Of course, we're looking at the bears game. It's game day here in Chicago. Big game this afternoon. The possibility the winds may be a bit gusty Soldier Field. Really? That's gonna be the only weather related part of the game gusts maybe in the twenty to twenty six mile per hour category. No, that's not really enough to have a major impact on the game. But yet one of those gusts in a could send a field goal. Aaron to feel go. Yrant in one direction together, it's going to be an east wind. So the windiest part of the stadium's going to be in the west stands, and because it's almost due east windy isn't going to really have a huge impact on the field. But at the end of the stadium win cata swirls around a bit. So that would be the one area to watch other than that not bad for football last year on the state are high temperature dean was seventeen degrees here in the midst of a an Arctic outbreaks, right? Yeah. This is bargain territory for us. Dallas is pretty nice. I was thinking about that yesterday as I was walking around jacket open. And then finally just took my jacket off as it was. So so nice outside. And I thought this is January and I'm walking around code on. Something is wrong here. Yes. Uh-huh. I guess some video from people jetskis are out on the lake yesterday in the in the playpen of Ohio street there. A couple of folks daring the the cold water and a water is still cold in the mid thirties. And if you get in the water can be actually kind of dangerous because the creates kind of a shock, but I saw a few people swimming pictures, people swimming, and apparently a sailboat to meted out on the lake yesterday at one point so yeah, rarity for January. But. All good things must come to an end. It looks like we'll slowly get back to more of a winter like pattern starting on late Tuesday and Wednesday as a couple of cold front's moved through. Yeah. We have this proceeding storm out to the west will bring some rain after midnight as some steady rain tomorrow morning then off and on showers tomorrow afternoon, but before the cold front's really settle in. We got this little window dean tomorrow between about three and six PM where we're going to be up in the mid fifties. As going to be windy, but boy another day were period that day. Yeah. In the afternoon in the mornings are going to be rainy and a few showers in the afternoon, but that window between three and six PM when you want to be outside tomorrow because we're talking mid fifties here in Chicago for a couple of hours before the cold air starts to settle in. So yeah. Later day around that could not ask for, you know, some nicer days to take Christmas decorations down, right? Yeah. Yes. Speak on you ought to people yesterday. I did I'm front of their houses just outside the station here on I think was on wavelength avenue. I saw a kid out in. Shorts and flip flops taking Christmas decorations. Don't see that in Chicago too often. Yeah. Yeah. That's at WGN itself. We never take our holiday decorations down ever. Sure. So we gotta factor, Bradley place. But nice nice that our neighbors have some pride in the Alvin neighborhood looks.
