Today's extended interview talked about how they are finding new foods to eat each each day and how they are reaping the benefits of increasing their Greens and avoiding junk food. John and Tracy are two of the most compassionate people you will ever are ever meet so in season to where we are celebrating heroes. You've been since you've been back from the immersion and you. You said earlier that you like life before the emergence of the emerging have you guys found it harder easy to be kind of to be stroll. Want me to answer. Okay I mean to me shockingly easy I think because for me I tend to run anxious. Thank Shis and I feel as though now. There's a calm that's come over me because I feel as though I am not going to die from something. I could have prevented which gives me a lot of peace and then I think because I'm just feeling so good I feel like I'm in control of my life more and I think because I recognize the power hour of the foods. They're tasting better to me and I was someone that didn't cook a lot before this and I felt like even in the immersion I learned techniques that I didn't know so so I was able to to really make things more tasty are you are you. So you're cooking more now. A lot more and and enjoying it. Yes yeah and what about you are you. Are you know okay. Let's have you find it harder easy to eat this way. So I mean the difference in terms of how I feel emotionally and physically is profound found. It's just much much better and I'm generally not comfortable with feeling so good so it's hard for me not to go back into the old ways of you know this. I'm not accustomed to this. Euphoric sense of possibility. I much prefer The depression yard nice of feeling like there's a block of eat them with the red. I you know I have to set my feet to a certain extent with this. Sort of thing I was not. I'm not a particularly adventurous eater in the first place I generally have my go. To's just my old goto especially when I stopped. Eating meat was pizza so I eat the same thing every morning. I wasn't kidding when I said I eat your cereal every morning. So so can. Can you send me a photo a couple of weeks ago of year breakfast bowl in your breakfast ball correct. Can you describe to me what that bowl looks like like. Throw down a big bowl. I like the original. Sometimes I'll do the other one but you know the dried raspberry quite frankly. It feels the the island of Dr Moreau. Something has happened to that very that. I don't know what but I don't right. It's delicious but it's against man okay. generally have grips big bowl original version. I liked the raisins and Yup. I'll throw now. I was ill put milk in my coffee. I moved off of that. I hope milk. Now throw mccolm boy with some flaxseed and some hemp seeds sometimes a little Shia. Get your mega threes. For the day. Fatty acids yes. You're good if you WANNA call. Okay I just is like opening bags imported. It's a big little actual fruit like some raspberries. blueberries she's Hawking The bananas you can see today because she apparently has stock in some sort of fanatic company. I won't always throw banana in there And then I'll throw a bunch of Kale on top of that. We're a little bit of new coach. Put it all together. Throw that down and then about halfway through. Usually I'll run to the bathroom. He will come back for people they don't know what can you tell them what nujis- it is nutritional east east other than that. I don't know what it is like it is it. It's one of those things that I mean. I used to do woodworking and I'm pretty sure the floor was covered in it. I never thought they eat it but it's like delicious and it brings that I don't know what it is. A nutty cheesy. It brings the decadence to the big bowl. Well when she you when she was telling me that she put some steam Greens and both your bowls and then there was a traditional use on this right. Oh God that just sounds wrong like for breakfast Nixon. That savory with the sweet in the big bowl sounds wrong but then when she sent the photos and I got to see how it was kind of compartmentalized centralized right so take us do this. Okay okay okay. We've only been in it for a little while we go for. I understand you the IRONMAN triathlons and those types of things. Well this is. This is our triathlon. This that's all. I'm sure you've done it for a while. But we're new school cool we're bringing bringing flavors of this. You've never love it now. Okay so what. What is it typical breakfast right and I want you to? We know that that to me has been the Lynch Pin of my success for the last thirty two years. I believe a joke literally six six six mornings the week except for Sundays with the kids. We do pancakes waffles. Right knee gases specialized but the most part that big bowl. I mean it is Try Andrew I love it fills me up and then I'm good till till lunch. What are you guys usually do? What's a typical lunch lately? So typically thickly what we do and it's funny because now we'll friends will say what do you eat. I always just try to simplify to say we always have steam Greens or green clean in starch and some type of being and so it's really always that so for people who don't know when you say you have a cleans potato sweet potato High Fiber Pasta whole grain. Pasta Brown Rice or Chemo is is always in there and the nice thing is we do. Keep all your products in the refrigerator so or and in the closet so we can always like open that up and that's always easy so I'll have friends say they lost sometimes. I don't have time to put everything together. But that is what's great is that we always do have that as our backup plant and I'm in the city a lot how workouts on and so the interesting thing is. There's a new thing in the city that is sort of fast food places that are these yes clients strong goals so you can go to whether it be a place called Green Sweet Greens Heidi bowl or and you walk in again. It's that's exactly that here's you get your choice of sweet potato. Greens aren't going to this place. A little beat where they make a beat Burger with off Kale and Chard Broccoli. You throw down one of the bowls and it's exactly what you guys are talking about. It's brown rice and beans or I'll eat rice and beans change a lot because I just I happen like that perfect no okay. What about dinner very similar more similar and you know now we used to eat out a lot and so now what we do? Is We go We have a very good Mexican restaurant. So we'll go and get a black beans rice guy We'll take arlen spinach. And we'll get corn tortillas and make burritos so that's like are now that's our new decade Which is funny? Because it's still I think my task food and and helping you. I'm not a huge variety person. So I generally pick pick my go-to stay with that's to me. That's one of the beautiful things about this lifestyle. Is You can make it as simple as you as you want. Or if if you're a total foodie in like experiments a million bucks like whatever you want really. We're flexible yeah.
