NPR news. I'm Jack Spear, Branson and Donald Trump is denying allegations he has privately insulted veterans during his time in office. NPR's Isha Roscoe reports. Trump also blasted his former chief of staff, John Kelly, as a potential source of the allegations. President Trump says the article in the Atlantic is a hoax aimed at hurting him politically. Citing unnamed sources, The article alleges that Trump called Americans who died fighting a World war losers and suckers. The story also included other alleged incidents where Trump despairs the troops. Trump said he did not know whether his former chief of staff, John Kelly, was a source for the story, but that it's possible. I know John Kelly.
