And the only county Board of Supervisors has just thrown their support behind a new ballot measure that may allow more people to take part. The board overwhelmingly voted today to support a proposition that seeks to restore voting rights to parolees. The November ballot measure would give us citizens living in the state on parole, the right to vote and if passed around, 50,000 people could participate in the civic duty. 19 other states already grant this right to parolees and the proposed rule
