YouTube Kids Isn't Protecting Children From Harmful Material


Kids isn't doing enough to protect kids from material that could harm them. The House Oversight and Reform Subcommittee on Economic and consumer policy says despite a 2019 settlement, in which Google would pay $170 million to settle allegations that YouTube collected personal data on Children without their parent's consent, YouTube kids now shows ads to Children based on the videos. They're watching. The subcommittee is recommending YouTube turn off, adds completely for kids aged seven and younger.
