Listen: North Jersey, Dan And New Jersey discussed on New Jersey First News With Eric Scott
"Meteorologist Dan's zero. So Dan, what's ahead for the morning commute today? There are still some showers around this morning, Eric it is wintry. Mix in northern New Jersey a little bit of sleet, snow, freezing, rain and regular old rain as well. But south of interstate seventy eight it looks like we have transitioned to all rain at this point. But even wet roads could produce some slippery conditions at times. Most of those major roads are well treated with salt this morning. So hopefully you'll fair. Okay. Things are exiting by about eight or nine o'clock will dry out largely but I have to keep a few showers and sprinkles in the forecast throughout the day. It'll be mostly cloudy and mild today look for highs in the upper forty s to around fifty degrees last time, it's going to be that warm in quite some time. One more round of showers expected late tonight more accurately early tomorrow morning. This one's going to be mostly rain with lows in the mid to upper thirties. But I could see some light snow in far north jersey. Tomorrow is the big cool down day with a brisk wind kicking up out of the west gust to forty miles an hour will be possible. So with highs in the mid forties. That's going to happen early. In the day. Then temperatures take a tumble. We'll see a mix of sun and clouds, and there could be a snow shower. Quick snow squall some visibility reducing snow in north jersey at some point tomorrow. Thursday, breezy and downright coal high's, mid thirties with partly to mostly sunny skies. We might not make it past thirty degrees on Friday, definitely getting frigid out there and that leads us into the weekend, which also looks cold. There is the potential for a storm system Saturday night into Sunday, and the potential is there for some big snow totals far from shore bet though just something we're going to watch through the rest of the week to one point five news time now five forty five around."
