Listen: Dan Zero, Chief Meteorologist And New Jersey discussed on New Jersey First News With Eric Scott
"How many jerseys? I news five forty four. As we bring in our chief meteorologist Dan zero on this Friday, Dan. So what about this big winter storm for the weekend? Well, if you're heading to Virginia and North Carolina that's going to be a problem for you. They could see up to a foot of snow this weekend for New Jersey, not so much. It really does look like a mess, but only barely we'll talk about Sunday and the potential minor impacts here. Just a second. Let's start with today. It is chilly this morning. Temperatures range from the upper twenties to mid thirties across the state. We should see plenty of sunshine today. Maybe a few flurries maybe a bit of a breeze, especially in the northern part of the state. High temperatures today around forty even colder air will start to filter in the next twenty four to thirty six hours. So tonight, we'll be mostly clear and crisp and very cold lows in the upper teens to lower twenties that could be our coldest night since that thanksgiving black Friday chill that we had to endure tomorrow is only made thirty s partly to mostly cloudy and then Sunday, it's going to be cloudy with. Highs around forty degrees again that southern storm looks to stay mostly south of us. But I'd be foolish to rule out a late day shower, and it looks like it's going to be rain in south jersey. If anything does come to play best timing for that would be between about four pm and ten pm on Sunday Monday. We clear away to sunshine bouncing back into the forties and things just stay pretty chilly next week forties for Tuesday Wednesday Thursday, the next threat for any kind of big storm system will hold off until next weekend. Friday."
