That's according to the US Congressional Budget Office on Monday, President Trump's economic advisor speaking from the White House said shutdown didn't cause any permanent damage to the economy. The CBO says of the three billion in losses. Three billion of it cannot be recovered. That's the monetary loss. But we're not getting reports from other departmental agencies and seeing other costs related to the shutdown of the National Transportation Safety board says it may have lost evidence from at least twenty two accidents during the thirty. Five day partial shutdown. The IRS says it'll take anywhere from a year to a year and a half to respond to the five million pieces of unanswered mail as for federal workers who are back pay.
