The death toll from Friday night's devastating earthquake in Morocco is over 2000 with thousands more injured. The magnitude 6 .8 earthquake is being called the strongest to strike the North African nation in more than a century. President Biden was quick to pledge US support saying that he was quote deeply saddened by the loss of life and devastation. Officials at the US Embassy in the Moroccan capital say they are not aware at this time of any American fatalities. The governor of New Mexico says guns will no longer be able to be carried in public in Albuquerque. Democrat Michelle Grisham signed an emergency order on Friday banning both concealed and open carry firearms in public places. It comes amid a rash of shootings in the state's largest city. Not everyone is on board with the move, however, with the Albuquerque police chief vowing not to enforce the measure and others questioning its constitutionality.
