U.S. Forest Service aims to speed up logging, infrastructure projects


The US forest service is proposing a sweeping overhaul of a landmark environmental law in order to fast-track forest management projects, including logging and wildfire mitigation on public lands embarrass Kirk siegler as more on the proposed changes to the national environmental Policy Act. These rule changes would give forest managers more discretion to bypass full blown environmental reviews on certain forest management projects, if they demonstrate there won't be severe impacts to the land US forest service chief.
