Ring recalls 350,000 video doorbells for fire risk
Ring has issued a recall for around thirty five thousand second-generation ring doorbells sold in the united states between june october. Because of fire concerns the us consumer product safety commission has logged twenty three reports of doorbells causing minor property damage and eight reports of minor burns. The device can overheat. If the wrong screws are used which can damage the doorbells battery. Customers do not need to return their doorbells but will receive updated instructions warning only to use the smart security screws included with the device.
