Biden introduces members of national security, foreign policy teams


President elect Joe Biden has formally introduced the members of his national security and foreign policy teams as NPR's Windsor Johnston reports. The announcement. Came after the White House gave the go ahead to move the process forward. Biden's first round of Cabinet picks and appointments to key national security and foreign policy positions include the first female director of national intelligence and the first Latino secretary of homeland security. Biden says his nominees have unmatched experience and accomplishments that will usher in a new era of thinking bite and also said again that it's time to put aside partisanship and come together as a nation.
