Victory, Former Marine pilot Amy McGrath fended off progressive Charles Booker to win Kentucky's Democratic U S Senate primary, setting her up for a big spending showdown to take on Mitch McConnell in November. McGrath was considered the establishment candidate and the outcome seemed a certainty. But Booker's profile surged as the black state lawmaker highlighted protests against the deaths of Working Americans and encounters with police. Voting ended June 23rd but with tight margins in a delusion mail in ballots it took a week until the graph could be declared The winner. Senator Mitch McConnell accuses McGrath of being too liberal for Kentucky. Meanwhile, McGrath accuses the GOP Senate of lacking the guts to put a check on quote out of control. Presidential power.
