Kevin Hart, Cranston, Louis C K discussed on Ron and Don
On Monday, Kevin draft the issue on Sirius XM radio show straight from heart. Once again. Kevin Hart apologizes for his remarks that hurt members of the LGBTQ community. I apologize. I'm now moving on from this because I'm just hoping that the apology is accepted. But there are a lot of people who've taken an issue to the way that you've apologize. It gives them more energy for me. The more conversation about it. I'm literally I'm over that. If it's accepted. Great. And it's not it's nothing I can control. And so now it's turned into. Did. He apologize, right? And people are saying that he didn't do it in the correct way. Why do you have to prove that you are a loving individual? You know, you are people close to you know, who you are shouldn't have to prove they should have justify that. That's the position I met. I shouldn't have to prove who I am. I shouldn't have to prove the love the love that. I'm capable of giving feeling choose to think how you think I'm not addressing it. I'm not. Over delivering an over proving myself because no matter what you do. It may still not be received. You find yourself in a position where you go. Well, what else do you want you want blood? I think what's interesting about him. Is he says, I apologize. He doesn't say I apologized. He says, I apologize. So he's apologized multiple times now, and he's apologizing. This is what's interesting. He said he's taken a lot of criticism. But he also feels like some of that criticism was deserved. He feels like it's opened up people are having conversations maybe the hadn't had before. And it's allowed him to evolve as a person and take some of the material that he would normally use them to stand up and take it out. He said I taken that material. So when I was less mature, I thought this refunding now, then the more mature, I don't think they're fun. So so. The. So when somebody apologizes, it's one thing to apologize and some people won't accept his apology. And I don't know why that is I guess apologies. Who when you accept those? It's the process, but now just watches life. And if he turns around you look at Louis C K, for instance, he said, you know, what I'm gonna do is. I'm really I I've spoken a lot. And I'm gonna take some time. And I'm gonna listen. Well, it sounds like when he took time, and he listened it sounds like he doesn't he didn't listen because some of the standup that he is doing now is more of hornet than before when he said he was gonna listen. So I look at Louis C K. And I'm like, you know, what you apologized I'm going to take you at your word that you're gonna take some time in listen. And now, you're doing stand up that is beyond the stuff that you used to do you talk about pushing the envelope. He is ripped the envelope. Unhappy poured gasoline on it any is torched. It and set it on fire Kevin Hart on the other hand here. I don't see that. I don't feel that from him in. Let's not forget he wants to make movies at families. We're going to go watch. He has evolved. Also an entertainer when you look at him in this movie. It's probably the most serious part that he's ever played Bryan Cranston right now, some people are pushing back saying why didn't you get a paraplegic to play a paraplegic? But nonetheless, I hear that the acting in this movie is great. It's wonderful your he's really good cranston's. Really good. He seems to be really great never then. And I think we let you gotta let somebody evolve a little bit. And even if you don't wanna forgive him right now because you're offended by him. Let's wait. Let's see. Let's see how he carries himself is he gonna go the way that Louis C K went or is he is he going to stand by his word that he's not going to introduce these things into a center, we just have to have a an expiration date on thoughts in on jokes. I think for all of us like if I go back ten years. There was stuff that I thought was funny. Then I wouldn't think is funny now there are you words, the us in colloquial things that you did and culture changes time. Changes we evolve people get more sophisticated over time. And so there has to be if you wrote something like imagine going back if you're journal that you wrote in high school, and some of the thoughts that you had were online and live forever for everyone can see. Of course, you have different thoughts like this. I think Kevin Hart is winning in this thing, and the Oscars aren't the Oscars of now say, well, we're not going to have a host and people. I think it's gonna be a very boring show. I think the numbers are going to be very low and people I think are moving on from like we want to sit around for four hours and watching ward show and so he his goal. He said on the Ellen show. I just.
