Listen: John, United States, Waiter Foundation discussed on Guard the Guardians
"Guard. The guardians dot com, and you'll be able to see links and show notes there as well. Are there any other groups that you wanna give shout out to in terms of, you know, people that are doing good work for the community or you know, helping to protect the good old US avai. Yes. I mean, you know, the the the ones I'm obviously biased to have you know, that I have. Close place in my heart was the foundation, they're they're awesome. On those guys. You know, there's a there's an international association IB TI. Okay. Their national onto nations investigators. So they're they're great organization there in international organization, but you know, we. We just try to you part those partner, you know, our biggest partners for us as the the waiter foundation. That's they do such as things anion help our brother and sister bomb. Tanks are major need. So awesome. Awesome. Well, thanks again. Absolute thank you will. There you go. Folks. You heard me mention during the conversation with John that I have done some consulting with a few different law enforcement agencies and one of the things that it always drives home for me. And this is my biggest takeaway from today's conversation is the fact that our police officers, and I know this to be true in other nations as well. They have a tremendous burden on themselves in terms of staying proficient in a a massive array of different skill sets. And as you heard with John when he was a detective and also now that he is basically a shift leader with a regular patrol unit. He still has the additional duties of being a bomb tech and on top of that being a bomb tech that can integrate with a swat team or tactical team. I know that may not seem like a lot if you haven't been immersed in that kind of world, but I can assure you that the amount of tasking and skills that you have to keep sharp is is overwhelming to be honest. And you know, like, I said the more that I've gotten to hear about all the various responsibilities in duties that are law enforcement officers have the more my heart goes out to them in terms of what they're trying to stay proficient with and what they're trying to accomplish in terms of ensuring the safety of their communities. I don't know what it was for you that stood out the most in this conversation. But I hope that this conversation does shed some more light on what those individuals go through both men and women those who are trying to protect our communities if you are enjoying the show. I'd really appreciate it. If you wouldn't mind sharing it with your friends and family, it really helps the show grow and. Ultimately what I'm trying to do is. I'm trying to make sure that those who are in uniform or who have put the uniform down get the information that they need in order to improve their lives for those of you who have been steady listeners. Thank you so much for your continued support. I know that you've heard this message a lot you probably gonna hear it some more in the future. But."
