President Trump, Rosenstein Muller, Donald Trump discussed on Rush Limbaugh

We also have this is one of the best weekends of the year for National Football League. By the way, we talked about this earlier NFL is it's not all the way back, but it's trending back. And you know, why that is Donald Trump? Donald trump. I may not be exaggerating. It. Donald Trump helped to save the NFL. Remember when all that kneeling began all the protesting. The flag began there was one person of any consequence that mocked it made fun of it protested it and tried to stop it. And that was President Trump. Have he not? It would still be happening. The league would not have been able to do anything about it league would have been afraid to do anything about a league would have tried to solve it by allowing it to continue. But paying off people to try to get them to stop it and so forth. Attendance would have continued to drop TV ratings would have continued to drop, but Trump called it out criticized it for what it was and brought the kneeling to a screeching halt, stop the protests of the flag during the national anthem and the fans are returning to the NFL primarily through television ratings now game attendance regular season. There were still some some fans disguised there is empty seats. But the TV ratings are starting to trend back and fans are free to be fans of the game. You don't have to worry about tuning in listening to sports announcers, preach to you about politics and social Justice at all this garbage. Nobody wants to hear about watching football or baseball or hockey basketball doesn't matter. So this weekend has returned to the fans and you've got you've got the divisional playoffs. Going on now. And the championship games will be next week. And these are some good games on C. Let's see. Let's see. Let's see if I can remember this tomorrow night. Eight o'clock game is the Rams and the Cowboys tomorrow afternoon is a weight. Hang on a minute. Let me let me read this real quickly here, folks. Let me check something here. I don't have it memorized. It is. Yeah. The chiefs and a culture tomorrow afternoon at four thirty five and then the Rams and Cowboys tomorrow night, then Sunday at one o'clock is the chargers at the raiders and in Philadelphia and New Orleans the four thirty game on Sunday afternoon. And this this is one of the. A few years. The New England Patriots have not been the number one. See they still going to bite week. But the chargers are given a half decent chance to beat the patriots on Sunday which. Is unusual. It's going to be thirty six degrees are going to be tough for the chargers. But you know, the chargers are nine and oh on the road this year. Including a home game. They played in. In London Robert Mueller, the special counsel C N in just hoping and praying I told you yesterday when I think this report is going to be thank Muller's working on the reporting. We've got a pretty good indication here that it's I he just asked for the grand jury to be kept open under six months. So I don't think the wind down is imminent. But if I had to randomly guess what what is what this is going to be. I think since there isn't any collusion between Trump and Russia. The report is going to stress that there was Russian meddling. They can't they can't not report that everybody in their ankle in Washington believes, it's true. It. It's it's I think it's bogus the idea that Russia having to do with the outcome of the two thousand sixteen election is an insult to everybody's intelligence. There is simply no way and even Rosenstein Muller in the indictments that they have made against Russian internet. Trolls have made it plain that not one vote was changed and the outcome of no election was affected that doesn't matter the media and the Democrats and everybody in this game have been reporting for two years or more that the Russians meddled in the. So they can't not report that that is going to form the foundation the report Russian meddling, even though it amounted to zilch. But they're gonna report it there is no collusion between Trump and Russia. So what they're going to say is that Trump's naievety his lackadaisical attitude. His arrogance incompetence the fact that he's got no business being president that he had no business being nominated in Nabil's the Russians they get away with meddling. That's how I think they're going to do it. And then I think Muller is going to pivot to obstruction of Justice and say that even though Trump was so dumb instant. These will not be words that Muller uses. But it'll be how they're interpreted and even though Trump was so unprepared. And so out of his league. And so incompetent and naive at the Russians were able to metal Trump still got worried. Referring to Muller as a witch hunt in a hoax, and so they're going to then say F CNN's reporting here that Trump attempted to obstruct the investigation. By firing Komi and by saying things in public that no responsible citizen of Washington will ever say. There would not be serious criticism of the investigator among serious people that would never happen, and they will. The CNN story. Here says that Muller has been making note of every word Trump has said in speeches at rallies at press conferences, and is categorizing them as potential attempts to obstruct Justice. And so the report will no doubt site certain things that Trump has said that the investigator will say were attempts to sway a possible jury. That were attempts to intimidate potential witnesses. I think this is what this report is going to be they can't afford after all this time. They can't afford to issue. A report basically says we didn't find anything no independent counsel ever has and certainly not this collection of snakes for Muller to Andrew Weissmann. I mean, they're they're they're practically in a recent column by Sydney Powell. The author of licensed ally. Has basically accused them of torturing Paul Manafort. Of slowly killing him by keeping him in solitary confinement. Not allowing him any visitors including from his lawyers. He hasn't done anything to warrant solitary. But she makes the point that they're essentially driving him crazy. Because they can. Manafort, didn't do anything the indictments against Manafort have nothing to do with Russia collusion. Trump the election any of this the latest this is this is so specious at even mentioned it the story a couple of days ago that Manafort shared polling data with a Russian oligarch. Did you see that story? You've probably wondered why you're hosted mentioned, I'll tell you. Why? It's because it's nothing. It's zilch zero NADA. Okay. So manafort's. The president is running the campaign chairman of campaign Trump camp. He's got some polling shares it with the Russian oligarch. Some this is collusion. Give me a break this is meddling sharing. Polling data that's going to be made public. Anyway. Let's extent of what they've got. So I think this is where they go to CNN, of course, is holding out desperate hope and their story is Robert Muller writes, this report, a potential battle brews over obstruction of Justice. Robert Muller wraps up his Russia probe investigators have focused on conflicting public statements by Trump and his team that could be seen as an effort to influence witnesses and obstruct Justice. According to anonymous people familiar with the investigation. So just when you thought Muller couldn't stretch the definition of crimes any Ferber are all buddies at CNN reporting, his investigators are focused on public statements by Trump and his aides as potential obstruction of Justice. CNN goes on to say, the lion of questioning adds to indications that Muller views false or misleading statements to the press or to the public as obstruction of Justice. So the president not telling the press everything they wanna know wolves obstruction of Justice CNN says that prosecutors have dropped hints that they had that they view public statements is possibly key in influencing what this is insane. This is ABC Jackley insane. I'll tell you. I fully expect all of this to collapse on these people because they don't have anything folks, they're having to manufacture things like fo-. Obstruction of Justice. Grab sound byte number twenty one changing gears. Lisa Murkowski, I this is a lesson in what would be happening if we didn't have Donald Trump in the White House. Lisa Murkowski, Republican Senator from Alaska. He just wants to shut down. Terrible. It's so bad. We can't do everything we need to do. Just the end the shutdown. This is what would already happened. We can already chalk up a defeat. Were it not for Donald Trump? We want border security, I want border security. I think that the president's request for a comprehensive view of how we address this is not something so unreasonable. Let's figure that out. Let's walk through it. Let's do a short term.
