Sam F Davis, Tampa Bay Downs, Bonnie discussed on The Horse Racing Radio Network Podcast

Automatic TRANSCRIPT

That's going to be my top pick and a race that I think is a spread, a good renewal of the grade three Sam F Davis race ten tomorrow at Tampa Bay downs. Last race we're going to look at is the only Sunday race we're going to look at, Dave. And it's at aqueduct. The $100,000 Broadway stakes for the Phillies and mayors, their New York breads going 6 furlongs on the main track. We've got a field of 7 going to post. We're jammed up. Well, I like this race because I think there's going to be a tremendous dual right out of the gate. I think Sadie lady and breakfast at Bonnie's are going to be at each other's throats. And I like both of those horses and I think they're viable contenders. But I think they might beat each other up and I think it sets up for something coming off and the two I like coming off are kept waiting who I thought was pretty good last time trying the dirt after primarily running on turf in a race that was not limited to New York breads and ran away from an allowance field. I started allowance field first off a layoff and time limit for Mike maker who similarly had been running mostly on turf last time at dirt at Laurel ran a very, very nice race and has a bunch of figures going back that would fit very nicely. I think time limit's going to get the perfect trip here just off that dueling lead of Sadie lady and breakfast at Bonnie's. I think time limit gets first run, Trevor McCarthy is having a really, really good start to 2022. I like time limit, but I'm using kept waiting as well. Okay, so time limit for Dave, I'm going to take a glass half full look at Sadie lady. I think she might be able to out sprint number 7 breakfast at Bonnie's early on and get the lead. And I'm convinced that she's better on a dry track than a wet track, zero for three on what tracks, including her last two races. If you throw those races out, her fast track efforts certainly are as good as anyone else in this field, I'm going to give her one more chance if the track is dry on Sunday at aqueduct. If the track comes up wet, I'm not going to play Sadie lady if it's dry, I'm going to probably use her first and second some sort of wagers. But Sadie lady for me hoping the track is dry in Sunday's stake, the Broadway race 8 on the aqueduct card. All 12 races in the books, Dave, it's time now.
