Listen: Intel, President Trump, Joe Michael Flynn discussed on Dennis Prager
"The danger in twenty sixteen with Trump was he was gonna come in with Michael clan tenant Joe Michael Flynn had worked in the intelligence agency. Who said he was going to try to clean the stuff up. Well, that was set off red alarm for everybody, you know, Jeb Bush wouldn't have done that. We couldn't have done that Trump and his people would they come in and see abuse ten twenty years of these with people end up in prison again inside Intel people tell me some of their colleagues ought to be in prison over things they were doing if that's what was at stake. It explains a lot of this. This are all sort of hatred and organiz Intel campaign against President Trump that we've been soft. I hope my listeners got the gist of what you just said you say it very calmly and almost matter of factly. But. This is this is what we associate with third world tater ships where somebody knows the corruption that exists and then. Is actually destroyed like like, general Flynn? I've always wondered why they went after him. This man thirty five year, whatever stellar record serving this country, did essentially nothing wrong and has had his life ruined. And now I understand why he was going to clean up the mesh. You can go to other cases. I wrote about this in one of my books when general portray director of the way, and they knew for a year. He was having an affair. And it wasn't a problem. According to the FBI and tilt the trace when off the reservation on the Benghazi narrative, he wasn't he didn't wanna fed off on some of these false information. They were putting out all of a sudden, there's affairs a problem, and he has to leave the administration, the timing should tell you everything, you know, put together time line shows bother anybody bother anybody involve anybody they have this dirt on hand being held over its head perhaps. And then all of a sudden he's off the reservation on important story. He's out of there. So I think it's happens more than we could possibly know they've been spying on by all accounts. This isn't even in question. Intel officials have been spying on members of congress. What do you think they have in their file when they listened to members of congress and their staff? And then they go in and tell these members of congress. They can't vote for hydro restrictions or more oversight on these vice warrants, you know, last I think it was about a year ago. Maybe not quite there was renewal of some of the seven two Valence authority that's been so widely abused and the of director to testified under oath the court that there had been no seventy-two abuses, which are well documented in the court Becker by the Pfizer court and other so weird that he said, we're that no one in congress challenged him on it. And then a majority of Democrats and Republicans, according to both party one vote for more oversight authority was renewed. Both party leader told their told their members to prove it as and the Intel community got a pass. So everything was re up with no more oversight. Nobody liked it. But they all voted that way. Because the power that the party. Leaders. Now, we'll over pretty much everything members wanna do. I mean this scandal. So how do you react to the term deep state? Well, I used to think it was I didn't really understand the term and it sounded a little Philly. But now in retrospect, it's something I have made I'd give my own name for this after working in Washington. Maybe the first ten years I was here, and I call it the persistent bureaucracy. I noticed that the garden of who was president when you would think things change. Oh, someone coming in. Freedom of information responses be better things will open up. I was excited that Obama pomace sat on its first day in office. And then not only does nothing change. But some of these people he would think would be kind of political officials and go out with a party, and you know, probably bringing on they don't they stay the same CBC. And that's the and, you know, many agencies are bureaucrats kind of nameless. Faceless people high up enough that they have control but not so high up that their household name and stay there or low tapers agencies and continue."
