Next door we would climb into the yard steel bunch of Avocados and then there was a safe way a couple blocks away and we would stand outside and undercut the prices at Safeway avocados and it was real cute. You know all these little kids we kept doing it. We'll finally I got out of the business. You know I'd say like Nick Junior high like it was getting awkward great. It was more like it was criminal. You know my Buddy Greg who is still our best friends. Replace me so now airline Dan and Greg. We're doing it and it was becoming more of an Arab criminal enterprise so one day this is crazy. One day I'm driving by old by all by parental beat up Volvo through Santa Monica Santa. Monica has all elise alleys. My Volvo was kind of this distinctive blue APP driving through it. I hear this at. I kinda stopped. Well it was my but he greg an airline Dan where an alley with a shopping cart. Full just completely full of Colorado's from some nearby yard hardly a broken into and didn't want to push the shopping cart at Volvo's had these big trucks. So now I pull in and they put all the Avocados in the trunk as foreclosed. That trump comes a police car while a dad. I is a Labor side. Union lawyer who specialized allies did representing police fire associations including the Santa Monica police and he was like kind of the first lawyer or one of the first in southern California afford to ever take on the Labor causes of police associations and he was kind of like a hero because of the seventies instead of like at the Union Reps during the deal my dad would like put a they go on strike Gert at it was crazy dies at. He got them really really good deals that continue to his day so he was Kinda legendary figure among a lot of police officers so of course. I'm the guy in trouble. It's by car. You're running ads. I didn't really want to be a lawyer but I I was just looking for some sort of alternative I I got into law school and deferred. Maybe try to write a book and as this is happening I got the miracle calls from SL and Ended up getting hired and I felt like okay. You know now. I'm obviously staying in. Because as I was the pinnacle and I was as you know I felt like okay now I need to crank it up because I'm competing against the best in the world and I've got now at now players WanNa hang out with me so it was. Yeah I mean what from Single-a to starting for the Yankees and modestly was probably rookie of the year. And you know at all star pretty quick I I use the opportunity but It was incredible and I had thirteen and a half years there. Were I felt the whole time.
