Listen: Cowboys, Washington Redskins, Fedex Field discussed on CBS 'Eye On Football'
"Aside, and we'll get more in depth into those a little bit later on. But really you look at today's game and the team that box their recent trend should be the drivers seat in the NFC east at least for the moment. And the transit is the Cowboys have been unbeaten at home. They have not been able to find a win on the road. And they can't find their offense. It's nine total points. The first half of three gates. Meanwhile, the Washington Redskins have been you know, sometimes their own worst enemy you come off a win. And then they put together a terrible performance and lose a game in the last fifty seven games they are five hundred twenty eight twenty eight. Eight one. And in some ways kind of embodies the struggles that they had gone through just to find some kind of consistent winning here. Just outside of the nation's capital. Well that that's the word. Kevin. I think is consistent, and they have been they have been very very good at times journal different. They're a little bit old school. Jay, Jay groome is is common old school guy. And you'll see a lot of three tight end set today, especially with Jamison Crowder out and they just don't have the weapons but you'll neither do the Cowboys. The Cowboys just these are kind of almost mirror images of each other. When you look at the stats, they're strong defensively. The Cowboys my top ten defensive stats. They're in the top five in six of those categories. So they are definitely a team that's being driven by their defense. So are the Redskins. So this is a game. I expect it to be low scoring team that can control the clock control the ball and not beat themselves with penalties and turnovers. Probably is gonna win this game. Yeah. You talk about Cowboys week voice fans. Always come out and represents the team the organization a city, very well. A lot of cowboy blue in the stands today and even toward their time here whether they're living in the nation's capital or visiting for this game. The Cowboys have won eight of the last ten including five straight here at FedEx field. And of course, Zeke Elliott putting together a monster time last time he was here almost a year ago. Thirty-three carries one hundred fifty yards. We'll see if he could duplicate that here today. Today's coverage coming up here. From FedEx field in Landover, Maryland is coming up when we come back though. Jerry recco. Progressive insurance studios. Good dive deeper to this matchup. You're listening to compass media networks.
