Listen: Gasparilla, Florida, Andrew Gillum discussed on PM Tampa Bay with Ryan Gorman
"Talking about that. But like little bottles of captain Morgan. I'm gonna go with. Yes. Specifically of these individuals were, but I would say, I know one on my float was drinking. And I think we were really in the minority people at Gasparilla, even the people on the floats. Like, it seemed like every other float, oh, totally isn't a giant party. Yeah. So a lot of pirates had had the beads around their neck in the blades were something to hold a beer or a bottle or something like that. So I wonder if that was the little tiny vodka bottles. And right so this pirate. Apparently did something much different to this woman than he did then they did to any of the Tampa Bay Lightning cheerleaders by pulling down her blouse and stamping her breast with ink. So there's an investigation underway. Wow. Because again overall I have to say when I was leaving Gasparilla. I did see I think it was out across the street from burns. I saw somebody getting arrested there there is the cop had his knee on the guy's neck. And it looked like the guy deserved it. I mean, something went down. So there was some of that not a lot of it. Because when you're talking hundreds of thousands of people it was a very small amounts. We saw the official police report is very small amount that actually got arrested or charged with anything. But this story dropped today and pirate in the parade. Completely inappropriate. This next story is out of Saint Augustine a man who jumped into a Florida's zoos crocodile enclosure has been sentenced to a year in jail. Court records show the twenty three year olds from green cove springs. Pleaded no contest this past Friday in multiple charges, including trespassing and criminal mischief. Saint Augustine police say the man broke into the Saint Augustine alligator farms zoological park on November fifth courting to an arrest report cost over five thousand dollars in damage. I guess what? He did was he jumped into the waters zoos into the water in the zoos Nile, crocodile exhibit home security video showed a crocodile biting him on the leg. He escaped leaving blood and clothing behinds Indian closure among clothing was. Was a pair of crocs, and that's not a joke. That's stop it. Right now. He he wore crocs into the into the cross crocodile loser. Enclosure, and I'm assuming leaving some of that stuff behind that helped police was along with the security video. He was arrested the following day after a resident reported seeing him crawling in his underwear across the neighboring yard. I I don't know why you would want to jump into a crocodile what would possess you to possibly enclosure. Boy, if I were the judge, I would I would really have to restrain myself because instead of the the year in jail. I would almost want to say, you know, what why don't we put you back in that crocodile wanted. And so then you wanted in so bad, maybe that should be your punishment and five minutes. Yeah. Final story this one at Brookvale. In Lyon county. All right. Always always a story from Hernandez gammy Pasco county sheriff's office arrested a woman after they say she hit her husband with a frying pan and punched him multiple times. Deputies say well, the man was eating dinner. The woman began screaming at him and blaming him for taking everything from her while they're getting divorced. Awkward situation. You're having dinner together in the middle of a divorce hits you well. And then literally hit him when the man walked into the kitchen and get more food. Deputies say she threw a cooking pan full of food at the man hitting him in the stomach. She then hid her husband on the side of his face five to six times. Ooh, apparently they've been married for eleven years and live together. She was charged with domestic battery. I'm going to assume he did not get any dessert after. No, no. I don't think. So probably I don't know if you've got more food either. Because it sounds like it was it was on his stomach non in his stomach and likely on the floor as well. So some only in Florida stories for you on this Tuesday, January twenty ninth coming up next. We're gonna be joined by Florida politics publisher, Peter sure, we'll talk about the new secretary of state. Andrew gillum is going to be a commentator a commentator on CNN. We'll talk about that. And a whole lot more on PM Tampa Bay.."
