Listen: Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings, Loss Angeles Rams discussed on Ross Tucker Football Podcast
"All right. Bri a bunch of injury news to get to as well. It's not good for the patriots as they put running back Rex Burkhead and linebacker. John Bentley on I r birkhead with a neck injury, and they were really counting on him to be productive for them this year, especially these first four games with Eshelman out. That's a shame and their vaunted running back depth has already dwindled after the Gillislee hill got hurt, burkhead's hurt to mazing how quickly that happens. And Bentley as a, you know, late round pick it really been a find linebacker to replace those guys. They signed John Siamese kind of versatile, doodle linebacker and Kenyan Barner who had spent some time with them. I think earlier in can't maybe even earlier this season as that eagles titans game, good news for both these, but especially the eagles alshon Jeffery cleared for contact. So. Oh, he's back and it looks like play Sunday was a full participant in practice yesterday. That'd be huge because they really, really are lacking at the wide receiver position could really use Jeffrey back out there. So that's a good sign for the titans. Marcus mariota will start pretty remarkable really. When you think about the fact that he really, you know, can't grip up all the way he wants to. You've heard Dr Chow on the medical minute can't throw the ball the way he wants to totally pretty remarkable that he's their best option of quarterback. That'll be very interesting to watch on Sunday for sure. Other notes, saints, resigned, Brandon Tate, Texas safety, Andre hall. His lymphoma is in remission, which is a great sign. Last thing I guess I would say is just Chris Conte who got stiff armed by Vance McDowell looked really bad. We all kind of made fun of him for. Joked about it. I'll just say this that guys played eight years sort of close to one hundred games and my guys are freaking warrior. And guess what? Sometimes you get them and sometimes they get you and they had to put him on IRA because he's playing out there with a torn PCL. So that even shed a little bit more. Like I mean, it was a vicious, stiff arm. McDonald deserves a lot of credit for it. It looked bad for Conti, but you know what, like I said, I get run over sometimes. Sometimes I ran over them, their NFL players. It's hard. It happens. Jeez, and finally Ross, we have a huge game tonight. The Minnesota Vikings at Los Angeles Rams. What do you think. This is a tough one for me Bri because the Rams are playing so well and they're playing at home, but they're without their top two corners. And I also feel like the Vikings were kind of embarrassed by their performance against the bills, and I expect them to bounce back in a major way. The problem is no Everson Griffen really hurts the Vikings. So. As you heard yesterday, I feel a little bit differently with the spread with the Vikings and then getting the points, but straight up. The Rams are just playing too. Well, right now short week at home. I'll go with the Rams to win this game. I think it's going to be like twenty four twenty maybe twenty three twenty. The Rams win. The biking's have a pretty good defense. I don't expect them to get torched and even at the Vikings can try to take advantage of feeling and digs against the backup corners for the Rams they still have to deal with Aaron, Donald and Adama consumer and that de line which isn't easy either. So I will ultimately go ahead and I'll take the LA Rams to win a close one twenty three to twenty. But I'm telling you, I would not be surprised at the Vikings one. That's why on the even money podcast. Yesterday I put money on the Vikings because I like them with those points. But if we're going straight up here, still lean to the loss Angeles Rams, but I really, I really don't feel great about it. I really think that there's a decent chance that they're able to go in there and they're able to get get it done. Devices are able to get it done. Tonight should be at any rate and awesome. Awesome game, speaking of awesome. I love finding out about new things."
