The U.S. contends that doctor Anna gabrieli and her husband, doctor Jamie Lee Henry, offered assistance to Russia in the early days of the invasion of Ukraine. The Baltimore sun is reporting defense attorneys say the doctor's actual intent was to help preserve lives regardless of nationality. They are charged with plotting to assist an American adversary by abusing their positions as medical professionals. That trial is expected to last about a week. This afternoon, he spent more than 20 years in prison for allegedly killing his ex-girlfriend before being freed after findings in the podcast cereal. The 42 year old was found guilty of first degree murder, robbery, kidnapping, and false imprisonment, and sentenced to life in prison at age 17 back in 2000.
