I heard you paint houses will soon be a net. Flicks movie directed by Martin Scorsese. It's about Frank the Irishman Sheeran. That's this movie will be called the Irishman when it comes out on net flicks. And it's about the case of Jimmy Hoffa. Charles. Welcome back to the show you were with us a couple years ago. But what an amazing story. Thank you. Great to be back. I gotta tell you back in nineteen seventy five in may. I was in Detroit, and I invited Jimmy Hoffa on one of our television newscasts and he came down talked with us, and I walked him to his car, and then two months later, he was gone, but he was telling me out in the parking lot. He wanted to come back and become president of the union. Even though he was prohibited from doing that with his parole conditions. But what an amazing story that never never stopped. How did you come across Frank Sheeran? Well, I was practicing law in Delaware. Chief deputy attorney general of the state number two law enforcement officer in the state and Frank Sheeran known as the Irishman was our gangster. So to speak in Delaware. President of the local Teamster union, and we all knew just from reading the paper that he was the prime suspect when Hoffa disappeared. And I got involved with him because I was doing medical malpractice work, and I got a call from a mafia guy in Philly by the name of Franny McDonnell. He was an associate because he wasn't Italian and only Italian get to be made men is I'm sure, you know, eight called me up and said that Frank was then serving thirty two year jail sentence, but he had some severe medical problems. And would I represent Frank cheering on his medical parole application, and since that's what I did. That's what I did. I represented him. And I cut a good ten years off the sentence that he had he was very great home to get.
