Listen: Nike, Iowa, Officer discussed on Mike Drop
"During your time, the teams who made the biggest positive impact on you and y, you know, again, this kind of falls in line with who's the scariest MO fo is that the community did without a doubt, you know, my first leading petty officer LP. Oh, say TB probably doesn't want his name on here and then my platoon chief DG was his initials. Is that both those guys, you know, really played a huge role but sewed it all the other guys in the platoon all the guys at the team. And every guy that I've I've come in contact with in the community. I mean, I can't. Express can't even begin to express the the benefit and the magnitude that I didn't really understand at the time of the of the caliber of men that I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by when I was in the seal teams you couldn't. You couldn't put a price on that you. I mean, there isn't is no amount of money that that could be paid, you know, that would speak to how valuable that is. And so it's really it's the entire community. I mean, I've had a, there's tons of guys that at different stages in my career of have played in a row roles in in developing, you know me and getting me from where I was to to where I, I went and all that, but it's just the community as a whole. It's been been incredible, Matt Bennett. What the thing you miss most about? Iowa. And what did you like the least. Really the the for the people in the four seasons the fall time specifically. I absolutely love and miss about Iowa, just such a good honest place, not a lot going on there and good way. People care about their shit. They take good care of it very polite. Just it's a great great state to be raised in would be a great great state to raise kids in. I do miss just Iowa as a whole. It's a, it's a great place to grow up. What did I like the least. The lack of terrain. I love the mountains and there aren't any there. It gets cold as fuck in the winter and the lack of terrain. Just, you know yet, and there's, there's not a lot to do really, you know which there's some huge good things about that, but but you know to to pinpoint what I liked least, I'd say that max it out Robert Burke favorite bourbon Blanton's to drink and pappy is for special occasions pappy fifteen year actually not the twenty or twenty three, but. Mason girl, Cass NFL protests nyc making that douche the face the fact that this exists. All right. I've had a lot of people ask me about Nike, the NFL all this stuff. Here's my take is that I don't give a fuck honestly, you know, do I like seeing that? No, I don't. It's a free country, though. The NFL is a business. Nike is a business. They're, they're corporations just like mine is. I wish mine was a sixty four th this is of either one of them, but here's the reality is that just like my business, I want to be able to run my business. However, the fuck I wanna run my business. They are entitled to run their businesses. However, they see fit if you don't like it, don't watch it. If you don't like Nike's ad campaigns, don't buy their shoes or their shirts or whatever the fuck. You know, to me, that's what this country needs to be about. You know, the first amendment freedom of speech and just freedom and liberty across the board. It can't apply when it shit that you agree with because that's. It's easy. You know it, it has to be about when you don't agree with it.."
